Foundations of Empowerment

If you feel inspired, please check out my latest article in the 35th edition of More to Life Magazine, which is entitled “Foundations of Empowerment”. To give you a taster, it starts as follows:

“The art of living an empowered life is a bit like walking on a razor edge between: having faith that our life circumstances are serving a purpose (surrender) – unmet needs are also learning opportunities; and acknowledging the areas in our lives where we’d like to see improvements and, thereafter, making changes, no matter how small, so that we get the feeling of co-creating the reality we wish to manifest (direct action).“

    • Good job, Brad 🙂 It’s good to be kind to oneself, like you say, as we navigate all the subtleties of what I call the “invisible prisons” of the social constructs that we are entangled in. Love & hugs, Sam 🙂

  2. Dear Sam,
Read the full article and loved it. Sorry to have been silent for so long. My husband went through eight months reversing a persistent infection including multiple surgeries and culminating in 8 weeks of IV antibiotic infusions at the local hospital at 7:30am each day. In the aftermath he contracted the dreaded c diff infection due to the prolonged toxic level of antibiotics and then we spent another two weeks eliminating that. He’s on the mend and both of us are getting back into shape physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Great article! With gratitude, love and light, Deborah Jane Wells

  3. Thanks so much for this Sam, I needed it so bad. I have been going through a journey of healing and your article came at the right time, I am learning to view life and events in a different way. Most of the time I feel lost in this journey but words like these really make me feel like its a journey worth travelling.

    • Thanks so much for your very kind feedback. It means a lot to me that my words can be of some assistance. I try only to write about things I’ve experienced directly in my life, in the hope that the authenticity will be of benefit to other people. I resonate very much with your comment about “learning to view life and events in a different way, [yet] most of the time I feel lost in this journey “. I hope things soon get much easier for you, and I send you much positivity and love. Blessings, Sam 🙂

  4. Great article Sam!
It would seem vital that dismantling the conditioning we all are subjected to creates the clearing for transformation to occur. Imagine what society would be like if creativity, empowerment, multi-dimensionality, purpose, service and truth were the foundations of contemporary education. It wouldn’t take decades to inspire the shift. It can be in an instant! Yet, as your article states, it all begins within. Funny how the most powerful experiences we all may have are first confronting before they are fulfilling. Equally comical how difficult we may interpret or make them to be.

    • Thanks so much for reading my article, Iam, and for your thought-provoking feedback. How much I would love to live in a society where “creativity, empowerment, multi-dimensionality, purpose, service and truth were the foundations of contemporary education”. That would certainly help more people to live their ”human being” potential in the way you describe in your latest post of that title 😉 Joyful greetings, Sam 🙂

      • Sam,
        😉
Who we are being and how we are expressing ourselves in our lives, at least our three-dimensional experience, is vital to transforming and manifesting our vision. It is amazing to me how many possibilities of our visions are created yet rarely made manifest. “Our energy goes where our attention flows.” We as human beings are so powerful, we have such potential beyond our imagination. It isn’t so difficult to live it when we are committed to being it.
